To Our Visitors,
Welcome to the Canton Community Clinic's website.
I hope that you find it both interesting and informative.
The Clinic opened its doors in the fall of 1994 as a free clinic inspired by the efforts of then Mayor Richard D. Watkins. It served as a free clinic relying on volunteer
professionals and limited funding until 2006. In March of 2006, we received designation and funding to become a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or more commonly referred to as a Community Health Center.
FQHC's are very important assets to a community. They provide a primary health care home for all segments of the population in the areas of medicine, dentistry and behavioral health. We are able to offer high quality affordable health care to all income levels. We fill a void often left by private practices by providing care at the rate of nearly 14,000 patient visits annually.
In January of 2008, we moved into our new state-of-the-art clinic facility located at 2725 Lincoln Street East. We are extremely proud of our new home and would encourage you to stop in and visit us. Our employees are recognized within the community for being among the best in their fields.
This website is designed to give you a thorough understanding of our clinic and services. Please take the time to navigate through it as I believe you will become aware of one of the best kept secrets in Stark County.
Sincerely,
Eric D. Riley, CEO |
